The Pet Shop Management System helps the small scale pet shop owner to keep track of the available pet and it's products along with the sales detail of his shop .In the current system, all the activities are done manually. It is time saving and scalable. The software has two types of users the administrator and the customer. The admin has the power to add or delete a customer. The system was developed using technologies such as HTML, CSS , PHP and MySQL. The system is free of errors very efficient and less time consuming due to the care taken to develop it. All the phases of the software development cycle are employed and it is worthwhile to state that the system is very robust. Provision is made for future development in the system

Solution

The project, developed using PHP and MySQL is based on the requirement specification of the user and the analysis of the existing system, with flexibility for future enhancements. The expanded functionality of today’s software requires an appropriate approach towards software development. This online pet shop is designed for people who want to manage various activities. The number of people having pets are also increasing because of the decline of the severity of the pandemic. This project deals with the problems on managing a pet shop database and avoids the problems which occur when carried manually. Identification of the drawbacks of the existing system leads to the designing of computerized system that will be compatible to the existing system and this system is more user friendly and more GUI oriented.

The entire system is secure and the project helps us understand about the development phases of a project and software development life cycle. We learned how to test different features of a project.
