The video game industry is rapidly growing, and sales data analysis is crucial for companies to make informed decisions. However, the data available on the web is often messy and needs cleaning before use. I did an in-depth analysis of a dataset using R programming tools and functions covered in class. The project also required me to create an online application coded in Shiny.

One of the biggest challenges I faced was finding a database that interested me and provided valuable insights into the industry. Additionally, I had to ensure that my dataset was tidy, with only necessary columns, and relevant column names with no spaces, and handled missing points.

To overcome these challenges, I conducted extensive research to find a suitable database that would provide valuable insights into video game sales. I then cleaned the data by removing unnecessary columns and handling missing points. I ensured that all columns were in the right format (numeric, character, factor, date) and had short relevant names with no spaces.

I used R programming tools and functions covered in class to analyze the dataset thoroughly. I created an online application coded in Shiny to present my findings effectively. The application included early tables and graphs coded in R and provided a detailed report introducing and describing the data.
