Agri supply chains are often opaque and inefficient, leading to difficulties in tracking products from farm to table. This can result in food safety issues, as well as a lack of transparency for consumers who want to know where their food comes from. Additionally, small farmers may struggle to compete with larger producers due to the complexity of the supply chain.

To address these issues, our team was tasked with developing a blockchain-based solution that could increase transparency and efficiency throughout the agri supply chain.

Solution

We developed a blockchain platform that allows all participants in the agri supply chain - from farmers to distributors to retailers - to track products at every stage of the process. Each participant has a unique identifier on the platform, which allows them to input data about their products and track them as they move through the supply chain.

The platform also includes smart contracts that automate certain processes, such as payments between participants. This reduces the need for intermediaries and streamlines the overall process.
