Background

As a Twitch streamer, I wanted to enhance my channel with unique assets that reflected my artistic background. I envisioned a tattoo-style logo, splash screen, transition, and banners that would set me apart from other streamers.

I decided to use traditional methods to create the sketches and color them with Pro Markers. I scanned my drawings into the computer created splash screens in Photoshop and animated them with After Effects. My goal was to create a recognizable brand that could easily be digitized in the future.

Problem

The challenge was creating assets that were both unique and recognizable while still maintaining a consistent brand image. Additionally, I had to ensure that the traditional artwork could be digitized without losing its quality or style.

Solution

I began by sketching out various designs for the logo, splash screen, transition, and banners. Once we settled on a design direction, we created detailed sketches using traditional methods and added colour using Pro markers.

For the splash screens, I scanned the sketches into my computer used Photoshop to create layered images that could be easily animated in After Effects. I also made sure to incorporate our brand colors and fonts throughout all of our assets to maintain consistency.
