Background

Our team was approached by the government of Queretaro to develop an app that would help citizens locate recycling bins throughout the city. The goal was to encourage more people to recycle and reduce waste. We founded a tech department with 13 members to take on this project.

Problem

The main challenge we faced was creating an app that accurately displayed the location of all recycling bins in the city. We had to gather data from multiple sources and ensure that it was up-to-date and accurate. Additionally, we needed to create a user-friendly interface that would encourage people to use the app regularly.

Solution

To address these challenges, we divided our team into smaller groups, each responsible for a specific aspect of the project. One group focused on gathering data about recycling bin locations, while another worked on designing the user interface. We also held regular meetings to discuss progress and address any issues that arose.

Throughout the project, we emphasized communication and collaboration among team members. We encouraged everyone to share their ideas and feedback openly, which helped us identify potential issues early on and find solutions quickly.
