Background

As a software developer, I wanted to showcase my skills and projects in an organized and professional manner. I decided to create a portfolio webpage that would highlight my experience, education, and projects. Additionally, I wanted to develop a mobile application using Flutter that would serve as a platform for users to access my portfolio and contact me.

Problem

The challenge was creating a visually appealing and user-friendly design for both the webpage and mobile application. I also needed to ensure that the content on both platforms was consistent and accurately represented my skills and experience. Furthermore, I had limited experience with Flutter development, so there was a learning curve involved in developing the mobile application.

Solution

To address the design challenge, I researched various portfolio websites and mobile applications to gather inspiration for layout and color schemes. I also used Adobe XD to create wireframes of both the webpage and mobile application before beginning development. This allowed me to visualize the final product before writing any code.

In terms of content consistency, I made sure to include all relevant information on both platforms, such as my resume, project descriptions, and contact information. To streamline this process, I created a Google Sheet that contained all of this information in one place.

For the Flutter development learning curve, I utilized online resources such as documentation from Flutter's website and YouTube tutorials. Additionally, I reached out to other developers in online communities for guidance when encountering issues or roadblocks during development.
