Problem

The Supply Chain Financial Planning and Analysis team needed to generate cost analytics insights to enable informed decision making, cost/waste reduction, and improved financial planning/budgeting accuracy. However, they lacked the necessary tools and models to do so.

Solution

We collaborated with the Supply Chain Financial Planning and Analysis team to create a model for demand forecasting, supply planning, manufacturing optimization, AOP/budgeting, and actual margin evaluation. We also delivered weekly/monthly reports with KPIs at different product hierarchy and period. This enabled the team to generate cost analytics insights that were previously unavailable.
