Contributing to Ecosystem

Being in a growing ecosystem such as web3, we are bound to find things that don't work as expected or have missing functionalities, as builders we should do our bit to take the ecosystem forward.

I have been making a lot of contributions over time and here are a few good ones.

ENS

Added support for Arweave content hashes in ENS, owing to which Arweave URLs could be added to the user's ENS profile.

The amazing thing about this contribution is one year down the line, I met a founder who was looking for the same thing for some time and got no help from anyone including the ENS team, I met him out of pure luck and my contribution was able to solve his problem.

Slyther

Slyther is a very important tool in analyzing Smart Contracts and finding out security vulnerabilities in them.

My initial contribution in web3 was adding support Slyther to find in which sequence constructors will be called in nested Smart Contracts and displaying the same.

Ethereum.org

Ethereum.org is one of the most important websites for anyone starting the journey in web3 or someone wanting to find something out about the technicalities of Ethereum and EVM.

I worked on improving GoLang docs for getting into Ethereum and EVM ecosystem.

Meroku DAO

Meroku DAO is part of Polygon Labs' dApp Store Kit, anyone can use it and build a dApp Store on top of it.

I worked on the reference implementation of the dApp Store, which can be either modified and used or used as an inspiration for Android and the web from scratch.

Blockstack

Blockstack back in 2021 was a decentralised data hosting solution for mobile apps.

I fixed some bugs with their Android library that prevented successful user authentication.
