Start of web3 Journey

My journey in web3 started with fulfilling small Gitcoin bounties and getting into Gitcoin hackathons. I started exploring Gitcoin, after getting into the top 10 teams of EthIndia 2019, and it was full of new things and opportunities.

Road to Becoming One of the Top 5 Contributors

I started off by fulfilling small bounties and talking to sponsors. After some time Gitcoin hackathons also started to pique my interest and I started to actively participate in Gitcoin hackathons as well.

I fulfilled bounties from Polygon, Consensys relays, Wallet Connect, FOAM, Keep Network, Aragon DAO, Bluzelle and so many more over the course of a year. Along the way, I got to meet amazing people from all the organizations, people with whom I was competing on bounties, and the really cool Gitcoin team.

Amazing things happened

It got me well versed in all the different components involved in making web3 work, meeting Mitrasish and Prashant (Co-founders of Spheron Protocol) and working with them on Bounties paved the way for my first full-time work in web3 with Spheron Protocol.

While working on one of the Polygon Bounty I got to have a lot of conversations with Anurag (Co-founder of Polygon) which helped me later to get grants from Polygon for the Slick Wallet (My side project), these grants made the project possible, and helped me in taking the project forward and eventually getting it acquired.
