Problem

Our team was tasked with creating a solution that would automate multi-step offensive attack modules using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The problem was that the existing manual process was time-consuming and prone to errors, which made it difficult for our client to scale their operations. Additionally, the lack of automation meant that attacks could not be launched quickly enough to respond to emerging threats.

We knew that we needed to create a solution that would automate the entire process from start to finish, while also ensuring that it was secure and reliable. This required us to develop a deep understanding of IaC and how it could be used in an offensive context.

Solution

We started by conducting extensive research into IaC and how it could be used in an offensive context. We then designed a modular system that would allow us to easily add new attack modules as needed. Each module consisted of multiple steps, which were automated using scripts written in Python and Bash.

To ensure security and reliability, we implemented a number of best practices such as version control for all code, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), and automated testing. We also worked closely with our client's security team to ensure that the system met their requirements for compliance and risk management.
