Problem

Our team was tasked with creating a mobile app that would improve the happiness of users. We knew that many people struggle to find ways to increase their happiness, and we wanted to create an app that would help them build a habit of doing something each day that made them happier.

We also wanted to link this habit-building to the brain chemical that improves happiness the most, so users could see the science behind their actions. Finally, we wanted to include journaling and emotion tracking features so users could look back on their progress and see how far they had come.

Solution

To create our app, we started by researching the science behind happiness and habit-building. We then worked with a team of developers to design an app that would be easy to use and visually appealing.

The app includes a daily prompt for users to commit to doing something that makes them happier, as well as information about the brain chemical associated with happiness. Users can track their progress over time using the journaling feature and see how their emotions have changed since they started using the app.
