Problem

Our team was tasked with developing a dissolvable microneedle patch for daily transdermal nutraceutical supplementation. The challenge was to create a product that would be easy and painless to use while also providing effective nutrient delivery.

After conducting extensive research, we found that existing products on the market were either poorly marketed, did not reach the target market or did not provide adequate nutrient absorption. We needed to find a solution that would exceed these requirements.

Solution

After researching various manufacturing techniques, we proposed a proprietary method for creating dissolvable microneedle patches. Our technique involved using a blend of food-grade polymers and active ingredients to create a patch that could dissolve upon contact with the skin.

We also developed a unique needle design that minimized pain and discomfort during application. The needles were small enough to be virtually painless, but still large enough to effectively deliver nutrients through the skin.
