Problem

As a software engineer, I was tasked with completing the JPMorgan Chase virtual internship program. The project involved implementing various tasks such as setting up a stock price data feed, implementing a dashboard for traders to view key metrics, and creating alerts for traders based on certain triggers. However, the project came with its own set of challenges.

One of the main problems we faced was understanding the complex financial terminologies and concepts that were used in the project. Additionally, there were several technical challenges such as setting up the development environment and integrating different APIs to fetch real-time data.

Solution

To overcome these challenges, we started by breaking down each task into smaller sub-tasks that were more manageable. We also made sure to communicate regularly with our mentors to clarify any doubts or questions we had regarding the project requirements.

For technical challenges, we researched extensively and utilized online resources such as documentation and forums to find solutions. We also collaborated closely as a team to ensure that everyone was on the same page and no one was left behind.
