Problem

AMFest, American University's Music Festival, was scheduled to happen on April 15th. The event required extensive marketing efforts to reach out to nearby schools and generate interest among the target audience. Our team was tasked with creating social media content, developing graphics and designs, and making design lookbooks for the event for Student Union Board. We had to ensure that we generated hours of media content while researching topics and trends that would appeal to the target audience.

The biggest challenge we faced was generating enough interest in the festival within a short timeframe. We had to create a buzz around the event and get people excited about attending it. Additionally, we had to ensure that our marketing efforts were effective in reaching out to the right audience.

Solution

To overcome these challenges, we adopted a multi-pronged approach that involved leveraging social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat. We created engaging content such as videos, images, and infographics that highlighted the key features of the festival.

We also collaborated with nearby schools by reaching out to their student bodies through email campaigns and flyers. This helped us generate interest among students who were looking for exciting events to attend during their free time. Additionally, we worked closely with board members from American University's Student Union Board to ensure that our marketing efforts aligned with their vision for the festival.
