Problem

As a product management class project, our team was tasked with developing a product idea that could solve a real-world problem. After brainstorming and conducting market research, we came up with the concept of "Casera", a platform to connect home cooks with individuals seeking home-cooked food.

Our research showed that there was a significant demand for homemade meals, but no existing platform catered specifically to this need. However, we faced several challenges in bringing our idea to life, including creating an intuitive user interface and ensuring a seamless experience for both cooks and customers.

Solution

To address these challenges, we began by creating a user-friendly interface and streamlined UX/UI design. We built clickable prototypes and conducted usability testing with 10 target users to refine the UI/UX further.

We also ensured that the platform had robust features such as search filters based on cuisine type, location, and price range. Additionally, we incorporated features such as ratings and reviews to help customers make informed decisions while choosing their meals.
