Problem

Our team was tasked with creating a line follower bot, remote controlled soccer bot, and manual control room surveillance bot using microcontrollers such as ESP32 Cam, NodeMCU, Arduino, and sensors like heat sensor, ultrasonic sensor, IR sensor, etc. We faced several challenges in designing and implementing these bots.

One of the major problems we encountered was the difficulty in programming the bots to follow lines accurately. Additionally, we had to ensure that the soccer bot could move around the field without colliding with other bots or obstacles. Finally, we had to design a manual control room surveillance bot that could be operated remotely and provide real-time video feed.

Solution

To overcome these challenges, we first conducted extensive research on existing line follower bots and soccer bots. We then designed custom algorithms for each of our bots that would enable them to navigate their respective environments accurately.

We also incorporated various sensors into our designs to help our bots detect obstacles and avoid collisions. For example, we used ultrasonic sensors in our soccer bot to detect other bots and prevent collisions during gameplay.
