Problem

As students, we found ourselves struggling to keep up with the amount of information presented in lectures. We knew that we weren't alone in this problem and wanted to create a solution that would help all students.

We decided to create an AI-powered class recording summarizer that would take lengthy recordings of lectures and condense them into shorter, more manageable summaries.

Solution

Our team consisted of two developers who had experience working with machine learning algorithms. We began by training our algorithm on a large dataset of lecture recordings and their corresponding transcripts.

Once our algorithm was able to accurately transcribe the recordings, we developed a summarization algorithm that could identify key points and summarize them into shorter paragraphs. We then integrated these algorithms into a user-friendly web application where students could upload their lecture recordings and receive summarized versions in return.
