I was hired by a leading advertising agency to develop an Android app that could capture viewers’ expressions while watching ads and use the data to predict the effectiveness of future ad campaigns. The agency had tried using traditional surveys and focus groups, but they were not satisfied with the results. They wanted a more accurate, efficient, and cost-effective method.

I took up the challenge and created a solution that used facial recognition and emotion analysis to record and measure viewers’ reactions to different ads. The app was user-friendly and respected viewers’ privacy. It also generated useful insights and recommendations for the agency based on the data collected.
