Ders Evi, a startup in the education industry, was opening a new office in another location and needed to plan an opening event that would impress guests and attract new customers. I needed to plan promotions for the right audience, organize invitations, create a list of invitees, plan the event agenda, arrange for food and beverages, decorate the space, prepare content for the event, select complimentary presents for guests, and secure PR coverage.

I faced several challenges during the planning process. We had a limited budget and a tight timeline to work with. Additionally, I needed to ensure that the event would be memorable and engaging enough to leave a lasting impression on attendees.

Solution

To address these challenges, I took a collaborative approach to planning the event. Divided responsibilities among team members based on their strengths and expertise. Also leveraged technology tools such as project management software to streamline communication and track progress.

I focused on creating an immersive guest experience by incorporating interactive elements into the event agenda. I also worked closely with vendors to negotiate favourable pricing for food and beverage services while maintaining high-quality standards.
