Problem:

Shure had the challenge of bringing a first-to-the-industry software DSP product, IntelliMix Room, to market. This required significant change within Shure to ensure the product's success, ranging from software G2M and operational improvements to organizational software development and support improvements. At a 96-year-old hardware company, pursuing these types of changes required the leadership of a Product Manager to lead without authority and gain the trust and respect of superiors with a pragmatic understanding of the customer, market trends, and internal organizational readiness.
