Dear Ms. Liza,

I am writing to you to express my interest in the Public Relations and Communications Intern position at Imagine We Rwanda, which I came across on LinkedIn. With a strong base in the English language, communication with clients, project management, problem solving and creative thinking. While passing a course on Building Fintech Startups in Emerging Markets with honors, I believe that I will be able to help in that office of work using the skills attained.

Besides the overwhelming amount of experience that I will gain from this position, the hard work and discipline needed to take up the task has attracted me to the position. I have a strong background in the English language, passing my Cambridge International Exams in it. The marvellous courses at African Leadership University have also helped me gain skills such as problem solving, proof-reading, fact checking, customer interaction, and the professional usage of social media. All of these skills were gained through hours and hours of hard work of courses, from universities ranging from University of Cape Town to The University of Sydney.

As a lover of reading too, I wholeheartedly agree with the organisation’s passions as it is one that I have too. I know how important books are, and especially those that are around our communities, some are life changing. I believe I am a good match for this amazing organisation because we not only have a similar understanding of the importance of books, but I have acquired the necessary skills to help the organisation. This would be a huge advantage as I would bring new skills and learn more from my fellow co-workers and use it all to fulfil the goal of the organisation.
