Our team was tasked with developing a bipedal robot that could maintain stability during walking and other maneuvers. One of the main challenges we faced was controlling the motors, sensors, and feedback systems to ensure precise motion and stability during locomotion. We also needed to implement advanced control algorithms such as PID and adaptive control to regulate the robot's motion.

To overcome these challenges, we conducted a thorough literature survey on bipedal robot designs, control algorithms, and electronic integration to gain a deep understanding of the state-of-the-art.

Solution

After conducting our literature survey, we developed custom electronic circuits to control the motors, sensors, and feedback systems of the bipedal robot. We implemented advanced control algorithms such as PID and adaptive control to regulate the robot's motion and maintain stability during walking and other maneuvers.

We also designed the robot with a lightweight frame made from high-strength materials to reduce its weight while maintaining its structural integrity. This allowed us to improve its agility while reducing power consumption.
