Problem

West Coast University had been offering courses in fully on ground and online classes. However, the university wanted to move towards a hybrid approach across multiple campuses. The challenge was to integrate both modalities to provide a well-rounded learning experience for students.

The university needed a solution that would allow them to deliver approximately 40-50% of instruction online and approximately 50-60% on ground. The integration between the two modalities was key to the success of this project.

Solution

To address the challenge, we developed a comprehensive roadmap that involved collaboration between faculty, instructional designers, and ID staff. We worked together to identify the courses that were suitable for a blended learning approach and created a framework for course design.

We also provided training sessions for faculty members on how to use the Learning Management System (LMS) effectively. This ensured that they could deliver course content seamlessly across both modalities while maintaining consistency in teaching quality.
