Our client, a leading online education platform, was facing a challenge with their certification process. They required students to complete certain courses and obtain certificates before being eligible for higher-level courses. However, the process of verifying and clearing these certificates was manual and time-consuming.

To make matters worse, the client's website was built on Flask, which made it difficult to integrate third-party tools for automating the certification clearance process. This resulted in delayed processing times and frustrated students.

Solution

We proposed building a custom Python script that would automate the certificate clearance process. The script would scrape data from the education platform's database and cross-reference it with external certification providers to verify completion of relevant courses.

The script would then update the student's profile on the education platform's website, automatically clearing them for higher-level courses. To integrate this solution with their existing Flask site, we developed a custom API that could be easily integrated into their website codebase.
