Problem

Our team was tasked with creating a short film for a film appreciation project associated with Universitas Negeri Surabaya. We were given the theme of horror and had to come up with an original concept that would engage the audience and showcase our skills in scriptwriting, acting, team management, and teamwork.

We faced several challenges during the project. Firstly, we had to brainstorm ideas that were both unique and feasible within our limited resources. Secondly, we had to manage our time effectively as we only had a few weeks to complete the project. Lastly, we had to ensure that everyone on the team was working together cohesively and efficiently.

Solution

To overcome these challenges, we started by conducting research on horror films and analyzing what made them successful. This helped us come up with a concept that was both original and engaging. We then divided tasks among team members based on their strengths and interests.

We also created a detailed timeline that allowed us to manage our time effectively. This included deadlines for each stage of the project such as scriptwriting, casting actors, filming, editing, and post-production. We held regular meetings to discuss progress and address any issues or concerns.
