Problem

Our client, a social media platform, was struggling to keep up with the demand for user-generated content (UGC). They wanted to increase engagement on their platform by encouraging users to create and share more content, but they didn't have an efficient way of doing so. The process of creating and uploading UGC was clunky and time-consuming, leading to low participation rates.

We knew that in order to increase engagement on the platform, we needed to make it easier for users to create and share UGC. We also needed to find a way to incentivize users to participate in the creation of UGC.

Solution

We developed a new feature called "UGC Creator" that allowed users to easily create and upload UGC directly from their mobile devices. The feature included templates for different types of content such as photos, videos, and stories. Users could customize these templates with their own text, images, and filters before sharing them on the platform.

To incentivize users to participate in the creation of UGC, we introduced a rewards program where users could earn points for each piece of content they created. These points could be redeemed for prizes such as gift cards or exclusive access to premium features on the platform.
