Problem

Our team was tasked with creating a functional and comfortable living space in a sprinter van that could accommodate two people. The challenge was to include all necessary amenities such as solar power, water supply, seating, standing desk and sleeping area while ensuring that the space remained comfortable and practical for long-term use.

We faced several challenges during the project including limited space, weight restrictions, and the need to ensure that all components were easily accessible. Additionally, we had to consider the cost of materials and labor while maintaining a high level of quality.

Solution

After careful consideration and planning, our team came up with an innovative solution that met all of our client's needs. We started by designing a layout that maximized the available space while providing ample storage for all necessary items. We then installed solar panels on the roof of the van to provide power for lighting, charging devices, and running small appliances.

To ensure easy access to water, we installed a sink with a manual pump connected to a freshwater tank. We also included a seating area that doubled as a bed at night along with a standing desk for work during the day. Finally, we added insulation to keep the interior temperature comfortable regardless of outside weather conditions.
