Problem

Our company was approached by a local law enforcement agency to help them with their drone object detection problem. They were using drones to monitor large crowds during public events, but they didn't have an efficient way of detecting dangerous objects in the crowd. Their current process involved manually reviewing footage after the event, which was time-consuming and not very effective.

We knew we had to come up with a solution that would allow them to detect dangerous objects in real-time so that they could take action immediately if necessary.

Solution

We decided to develop an AI-powered drone object detection system that could analyze footage in real-time and alert law enforcement officers if it detected any dangerous objects. We used machine learning algorithms to train the system to recognize common dangerous objects like guns and knives, as well as less common objects that could still pose a threat.

The system was designed to work seamlessly with the drones already being used by the law enforcement agency. It would analyze footage from the drone's camera in real-time and send alerts directly to officers on the ground if it detected any dangerous objects. The alerts included information about the type of object detected, its location within the crowd, and other relevant details.
