Problem

The problem we faced was that Superstar Comic Con, a new event in Savannah, Georgia, needed to attract attendees for its first year. As a new event, it had no established reputation or following. The challenge was to create buzz and excitement around the event to drive ticket sales and ensure a successful turnout.

We knew that social media would be a key tool in achieving this goal, but we needed to develop a comprehensive strategy that would effectively engage potential attendees and build momentum leading up to the event.

Solution

Our team developed a multi-faceted social media campaign that leveraged various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat. We created engaging content such as behind-the-scenes photos and videos of celebrity guests preparing for the event, sneak peeks of merchandise available at the convention, and interactive polls asking fans which panels they were most excited about.

In addition to creating original content, we also partnered with influencers in the comic book and pop culture communities to promote Superstar Comic Con on their own channels. This helped us reach a wider audience and tap into existing fan bases who were likely to be interested in attending the event.
