Background

Our team was tasked with improving the user experience of WhatsApp by identifying and addressing pain points through user research. We also needed to write effective OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for the project and ensure that our work aligned with the Jobs-to-be-Done framework.

Problem

We knew that WhatsApp had a large user base, but we wanted to understand their needs better. Our goal was to identify any areas where users were struggling or experiencing frustration so that we could improve the app's usability. Additionally, we needed to create clear and measurable OKRs that would guide our work throughout the project.

Solution

To address these challenges, we conducted extensive user research using a variety of methods such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing. This allowed us to gain insights into how people were using WhatsApp and what issues they were facing.
