Background

As a team of developers, we were tasked with several projects that required us to design and implement new tools for different clients. One of the projects was to create a scrapping tool that would automate freelance job research for our client. Another project was to redesign the core platform at Worklife, while the third project was to design and implement three Shopify applications for The OZ.

Problem

The main problem we faced in each of these projects was finding a way to streamline processes and increase efficiency. For example, the scrapping tool needed to be able to quickly and accurately gather data from various freelance job websites so that our client could easily find relevant jobs without having to spend hours searching manually. Similarly, the core platform at Worklife needed an overhaul because it had become outdated and inefficient over time. Finally, The OZ needed Shopify applications that would help them manage their online store more effectively.

Solution

To solve these problems, we used our expertise in software development to design and implement custom solutions for each client. For the scrapping tool, we created a program that could automatically search multiple job websites simultaneously and compile all relevant data into one easy-to-use interface. This saved our client countless hours of manual labor and allowed them to focus on other important tasks.

For Worklife's core platform redesign, we worked closely with their team to identify pain points and areas for improvement. We then developed a new system architecture that streamlined processes and made it easier for users to navigate the platform. Finally, for The OZ's Shopify applications, we designed custom tools that helped them manage inventory more effectively, process orders faster, and track customer data more efficiently.
