Problem

My design study focuses on dedicated student who, much like a busy entrepreneur, found themselves grappling with the demands of their academic life. They were juggling a plethora of assignments and responsibilities, and maintaining their productivity became an arduous task. They were in search of a solution that could help them efficiently manage their daily academic tasks and schedules.

The idea of hiring a human assistant was deemed impractical due to the associated costs and time constraints. Hence, I proposed the development of an AI assistant utilizing ChatGPT to alleviate the student's academic workload. Nevertheless, the real challenge I faced lay in ensuring that this AI assistant could comprehensively understand the student's academic requirements and provide relevant responses.

Solution

To create the AI assistant, I used ChatGPT, an open-source language model developed by OpenAI. I trained the model through a series of interactions and iterations to ensure that it understood the students' communication styles and preferences.

I also programmed the AI assistant with specific keywords related to our students' backgrounds so that it could provide relevant information when needed.
