Problem
As the Examination cell of EsettingMITS, we faced a challenge in managing student information during exams. Our manual system was prone to errors and made it difficult for students to access their registration and seat information. This led to confusion and chaos during exam days.
We needed a solution that would automate the process of managing student information and provide an easy-to-use platform for students to access their registration and seat details.
Solution
Our team developed a web-based application that automated the process of managing student information during exams. The platform allowed us to assign rooms, seats, blocks, roll numbers, and report details with ease. Students could also access their registration and seat information prior to 24 hours before the exam.
The application was built using Python as the backend language, Django as the framework, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript for the frontend. We also used PostgreSQL as our database management system.
