Problem
During a summer internship at the design lab, our team was tasked with integrating AI into virtual meetings to facilitate conversations. The problem we faced was that people often struggle to come up with ideas and solutions during brainstorming sessions, which can lead to unproductive meetings and wasted time.
To address this issue, we needed to develop an AI system that could prompt participants with relevant questions and suggestions, helping them generate more creative ideas and move the conversation forward.

Solution
To create an effective AI system for virtual meetings, we conducted extensive research and testing. We interviewed a wide range of people to understand their experiences with brainstorming and virtual meetings, and we studied existing AI systems to identify best practices.
Based on our research, we developed an AI system that uses natural language processing to analyze the conversation in real-time. When it detects a lull in the discussion or a need for new ideas, it prompts participants with relevant questions or suggestions. We also built in features like sentiment analysis to help gauge the mood of the meeting and adjust prompts accordingly.
