Our client, a Section 8 Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA) program, was grappling with operational inefficiencies and outdated systems. These issues hindered their ability to effectively serve over 1.2 million families in need of affordable housing.

Solution

Leveraging my expertise in UX/UI design, I spearheaded a digital transformation focused on user-centric design and operational efficiency, inspired by CGI's PBCA solutions. I conducted user research to understand the needs of both the housing authorities and the families they serve.

Based on these insights, I designed an intuitive mobile app interface that simplified complex rental assistance processes. I collaborated with developers to implement state-of-the-art software and coding practices, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.

To optimize performance, we integrated a Content Delivery Network (CDN) for faster global load times. I also provided hands-on UX/UI training to the client's staff, empowering them to maintain and update the new mobile app effectively.
