Problem

Our client, a leading educational institution, wanted to create an AI assistant that would help students navigate their academic and professional environments. They wanted the bot to act as a reflective tool that would prompt deep introspection and strategic thinking, rather than just serving as an informational source. The challenge was to design a bot that could facilitate cognitive and metacognitive growth in students.

We knew that designing such a bot would require careful consideration of the pedagogical behavior we wanted it to exhibit. We also needed to ensure that the bot's prompts were designed in a way that would encourage students to engage in constructive dialogue about their resources, aspirations, and environments.

Solution

To address this challenge, we decided to use ChatGPT, an advanced natural language processing model that could understand and respond to student queries with high accuracy. We also designed the bot's prompts in a way that would encourage deep reflection on environmental expectations, mentorship experiences, and personal objectives.

We named the bot "Know Your Game Bot" (Resource Navigator) because it acted as a guide and facilitator for students navigating their academic and professional environments. Our goal was to assist students in recognizing, evaluating, and strategically using available resources while aiding decision-making by encouraging deep reflection.
