Problem

This is a logic board design that could efficiently manage power and communication interfaces to their solar charge controller. The board also needed to include various features such as an LTE-M modem, GPS, and motor drivers for the 24v/20A actuators. The challenge was to create a compact design that could fit all the necessary components while ensuring optimal performance.

Solution

This board includes all the necessary features such as

-Power management,

-WS2812B LED drivers,

-RS485, UART, I2C and SPI

-LTE-M modem, WIFI and BT-LE, GPS

-H-Bridge Motor Driver for 24v/20A actuator

-Current sensing for motors,

-Contactor control and pre-charge circuits

-Keypad inputs

-Estop and bootstrap circuitry.

The final design was thoroughly tested to ensure optimal performance.
