The Kasalto team was hired to renovate a 1920s old Spanish home in Coral Gables, Florida. The property needed extensive renovations including all the mechanicals. The client wanted to sell the property after the renovation, so it was essential to create a design that would appeal to potential buyers and increase the value of the property.

The challenge for the team was to create a modern design while maintaining the original charm of the house. We also had to complete the project within four months while ensuring that all aspects of the renovation were up to code.

Solution

The Kasalto team worked closely with the client to understand their vision for the property. They created a modern design that incorporated European style bathrooms with large format tiles and a custom-made Italian kitchen with built-in door opening and closing mechanisms and top-of-the-line appliances. The team also focused heavily on interior architectural lighting, which enhanced the overall look and feel of the house.

To maintain the original charm of the house, they installed wide plank French oak flooring throughout, which added warmth and character to the space. They also ensured that all aspects of the renovation were up to code by working closely with local inspectors throughout every stage of construction.
