Problem

Creating a video with slides can be a time-consuming process, especially when it comes to graphic design. It can take hours to create visually appealing slides that effectively convey the message of the video. This was the problem faced by our team member when tasked with creating a video about creating an AI skills portfolio.

Without a solution, this would have resulted in a significant amount of time being spent on graphic design, taking away from other important aspects of the project.

Solution

To solve this problem, we introduced Gamma into the workflow. Gamma is an AI-powered platform that generates slides based on inputted scripts. Our team member was able to save 4-5 hours of work by directly inputting their script into Gamma and quickly editing the generated slides.

This solution not only saved time but also ensured that the slides were visually appealing and effectively conveyed the message of the video.

Process

I generated the script using a combination of Perplexity, ChatGPT, and my own knowledge. I then put the script into Gamma to generate the slides.

Next, I edited the slides to match the Mia colors and elements of the brand visual identity, I added a logo, and this was the final result.

Lastly, I recorded the video using Loom, the script, and my AI generated slides. It was a quick and easy workflow that was sped up by using both AI-generated text combined with my knowledge and AI-generated slides combined with my graphic design, know-how.

The final output was used as part of a 6-week AI training program.
