As a job seeker, I wanted to create a personal portfolio site that would showcase my experience, skills, and projects in an engaging way. However, I lacked the technical expertise to build such a site and was unsure of how to make it stand out among other applicants.

After doing some research, I found that many recruiters receive hundreds of applications for each job opening and often spend only a few seconds reviewing each one. Therefore, it was crucial that my portfolio site be visually appealing and easy to navigate so that it would catch their attention and encourage them to learn more about me.

Solution

To address this problem, we decided to create a personal portfolio site using WordPress. We chose WordPress because it is user-friendly and has many customizable themes and plugins available.

We started by selecting a theme that would showcase my work in an engaging way while also being easy to navigate. We then customized the theme with my branding colors and added sections for my experience, skills, projects, and contact information. To make the site even more visually appealing, we added high-quality images of my work throughout the site.
