Background

As an international travel agent for Avoya, American Express, we were tasked with creating a customized travel trip through Japan for a group of four individuals. The group consisted of two adults who were interested in Mount Fuji and a high school graduate interested in anime.

Problem

The challenge was to create an itinerary that catered to the interests of both the adults and the high school graduate while ensuring that they had a memorable experience. Additionally, we had to ensure that their accommodation was comfortable and met their needs.

Solution

We created a day-to-day itinerary that included visits to popular tourist attractions such as Tokyo Tower, Senso-ji Temple, and Mount Fuji. For the high school graduate interested in anime, we included a visit to Akihabara Electric Town where they could explore various anime shops and cafes. We also ensured that their accommodation was comfortable by booking them into special hotels such as Hanoki.
