Problem

Our client, a furniture manufacturer, was struggling to showcase their products in an engaging way on their website. They wanted to offer customers the ability to customize and visualize their cabinets in 3D, but didn't have the technical expertise to build such a tool.

We knew that providing customers with a more interactive experience would increase engagement and ultimately lead to higher sales. We needed to find a way to create a 3D configurator that was easy for customers to use and could be seamlessly integrated into our client's website.

Solution

After researching various technologies, we decided to build the 3D configurator using Three.js, a JavaScript library for creating 3D graphics. We created a user-friendly interface that allowed customers to select different cabinet styles, colors, and configurations. The configurator also included features like zooming, panning, and rotating so customers could view their cabinets from all angles.

To ensure seamless integration with our client's website, we used React.js for the front-end development and Node.js for the back-end. We also implemented Supabase as our database solution which allowed us to store all of the cabinet designs and configurations in one place.
