Problem

Chelsea Football Club and London Design Factory set out a creative competition to design a platform or campaign for the England Women’s National team, to engage fans digitally and optimise return on investment for their sponsors during the Women's World Cup 2023.

My design partner faced several challenges in achieving this goal. Firstly, we needed to identify the key factors that would drive fan engagement and sponsor ROI. Secondly, we had to design a platform that would effectively leverage these factors while also being user-friendly and accessible to fans around the world.

Solution

I conducted extensive research into the preferences and behaviours of football fans, as well as the most effective strategies for generating sponsor ROI.

Based on this research, we designed a platform that incorporated a range of interactive features such as AR that help build a tifo in mass, live match updates, player profiles, social media integration and exclusive content. We also implemented analytics tools that allowed us to track user behaviour and measure the impact of our efforts in real-time.

Result

We won 1st place in London
