Low-income communities often lack access to advanced technology and structured learning in coding and immersive technologies. This creates an educational gap that limits career opportunities for underprivileged K-12 students. To address this issue, our team was tasked with developing learning materials that would empower these students by granting them access to an AI chatbot that serves as a personal tutor in AI, MR, and VR technologies.

However, creating effective learning materials for a diverse group of students with varying levels of prior knowledge and skills presented a significant challenge. We needed to develop content that would be engaging and accessible for all students while also teaching them valuable technical skills.

Solution

To address the challenge of creating effective learning materials for underprivileged K-12 students in low-income communities, we developed an AI chatbot that serves as a personal tutor in AI, MR, and VR technologies. The chatbot uses natural language processing to interact with students and provide personalized guidance on technical concepts.

In addition to the chatbot, we created a series of interactive modules that teach technical concepts through hands-on activities. These modules are designed to be engaging and accessible for all students, regardless of their prior knowledge or skills. We also provided access to hardware such as VR headsets so that students could experience immersive technologies firsthand.
