Background

Our team was approached by a university to develop a platform that would provide personalized support to students throughout their academic journey. The university wanted to improve student retention rates and ensure that students had access to the resources they needed to succeed.

Problem

The university had noticed a high dropout rate among students, particularly in their first year. Many students were struggling with the transition from high school to university and didn't know where to turn for help. The university's existing support services were overwhelmed, and many students fell through the cracks.

Solution

We developed a platform called Student Supporter that provided personalized support to each student based on their needs. When a student signed up for the platform, they were asked a series of questions about their academic goals, interests, and challenges. Based on this information, we created a customized plan for each student that included access to resources such as tutoring, study groups, and mental health services.

The platform also included an AI-powered chatbot that could answer common questions and provide guidance 24/7. Students could use the chatbot to get quick answers or connect with a human advisor if they needed more help.
