The JuniorMBA programs are short, 15-hour courses that allow teenagers to “experience” various corporate roles, unlock industry certifications, and develop the skills needed to succeed in the real world.

Problem

We grew suddenly in the pandemic and all class scheduling was happening manually. The sales team would manually update Excel sheets and then the faculty operations person would assign a freelance teacher and make sure students showed up to class every day.

The manual processes were a major barrier to scaling.

Solution

I architected a new tech platform that would automate a lot of the operations like class scheduling, attendance, certificate rollouts, and payroll for freelance teachers. It also created seamless handover systems across teams. I created a detailed plan with clear objectives and milestones such that we could shift our operations without breaking the current flow and affecting existing business.
