Problem

As a team, we were tasked with completing a job simulation involving identity and access management (IAM) for Tata Consultancy Services. The challenge was to collaborate with a Cybersecurity Consulting team and acquire expertise in IAM principles, cybersecurity best practices, and strategic alignment with business objectives.

The main problem we faced was the complexity of the technical concepts involved in IAM. We had to ensure that our documentation and presentations were comprehensive enough to showcase our ability to communicate these complex technical concepts effectively.

Solution

To solve this problem, we started by conducting extensive research on IAM principles and cybersecurity best practices. We also collaborated closely with the Cybersecurity Consulting team to ensure that we had a complete understanding of the project requirements.

We then developed a comprehensive documentation and presentation plan that included clear explanations of technical concepts, diagrams, and examples. We made sure to use language that was easy to understand for non-technical stakeholders.
