Problem

Every year, millions of people require blood transfusions due to accidents, surgeries, and illnesses. However, there is a constant shortage of blood donations worldwide. One of the main reasons for this shortage is the lack of awareness among people about the importance of donating blood and the difficulty in finding blood donors when needed.

To address this issue, our team was tasked with developing a mobile application that would make it easier for people to donate blood and connect with those in need.

Solution

We developed a user-friendly mobile application that allows users to register as donors or recipients. Donors can create profiles that include their blood type, location, and availability for donation. Recipients can search for donors based on their location and blood type using the app's search feature.

The app also includes features such as appointment scheduling, reminders for upcoming appointments, and notifications about nearby blood donation drives. We made sure to prioritize user privacy by implementing secure login authentication and data encryption.
