Tavleen Kaur

About Me

Hi! I am a PhD student at Brown University with a focus on materials science. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in materials science. I love novel materials research, product design, and public speaking. Hence, I’m passionate about creating social impact through sustainable technology. I recently completed a 1 year internship at Apple as a material quality engineer on the manufacturing design team. I also worked as an undergraduate researcher with the Design for Emerging and Nanoscale Manufacturing lab under Hayden Taylor for 2 years. I have a passion for mentoring, and I expanded Engineering Solutions at Berkeley for the last 3 years.
