Problem

JerseySTEM, a non-profit organization that provides STEM education to students in New Jersey, lacked a cohesive brand identity and messaging. As Head of Brand Marketing, I recognized the need for a strong brand presence to effectively communicate our mission and values to our audience.

Our website was outdated and did not accurately reflect the quality of our programs. Our messaging was inconsistent across platforms, leading to confusion among potential donors and partners. We needed a comprehensive branding strategy that would unify our messaging and create a strong visual identity.

Solution

To address these challenges, I built and led a team of designers, developers, and copywriters to develop a comprehensive branding strategy for JerseySTEM. We started by conducting market research to better understand our target audience's needs and preferences.

Based on our research findings, we developed a new visual identity that included updated colors, typography, and logo design. We also revamped our website with new content that accurately reflected the quality of our programs and services. Additionally, we created messaging guidelines to ensure consistency across all platforms.
